We offer reclaimed oak flooring salvaged from homes and buildings that are scheduled for demolition. We salvage the flooring, remove nails, inspect for quality, and prepare the boards for reuse in new homes, cabins, and historical buildings.
Old Texas Wood also reclaims antique red and white oak planks. Oak flooring was used predominantly in North Texas during the late 1920’s to mid-1960’s. The oak planks that are rescued are generally a select grade with lengths from 3-feet to 11-feet and widths between 1 1/2″ to 3″, the most common width being 2 1/4″.
